  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup mini M&Ms (red, white, & blue)
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles (jimmies)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
  • Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and spray a 9-inch pie plate with nonstick baking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter and sugars until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Combine flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips, mini M&Ms, and sprinkles. Spread evenly in prepared pie plate.
  5. Bake for 17–18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
  6. For frosting, beat softened butter with salt and vanilla until creamy; add powdered sugar gradually along with heavy cream. Mix until fluffy.
  7. Pipe frosting onto cooled cookie cake and top with additional sprinkles.
