- 3 packages cream cheese
- 1 store-bought pumpkin pie
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter
- 12 ounces unsalted butter (for frosting)
- 5 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, flour, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth. Mix in heavy cream and eggs; set aside.
- For the spice cake layer, mix flour with baking powder and spices in one bowl. In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar; add oil and egg. Gradually combine with dry ingredients alternating with milk.
