  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces sliced provolone cheese
  • 2.25 ounces canned sliced black olives
  • 16 ounces dried spaghetti
  • 16 ounces marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, olive oil, parsley flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Shape the mixture into 2-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Cut provolone into circles and place one circle on each meatball as 'eyeball whites.'
  6. Add an olive slice on top for 'pupils.' Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes to melt slightly.
  7. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions and heat marinara sauce in another pot.
  8. Serve spaghetti topped with eyeball meatballs.
