  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat; sauté diced onion until softened (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add minced garlic and jalapeños; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in chicken breasts and chicken broth; bring to a boil, then simmer for 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
  5. Mix in heavy cream, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Incorporate softened cream cheese until smooth, then add shredded cheddar until melted.
  7. If desired, fold in crumbled bacon and let simmer for another 5 minutes before serving.
