Ingredients
- 300 g boneless white fish (cubed)
- 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1–2 tsp peri peri seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix vinegar, peri peri seasoning, ginger garlic paste, salt, and pepper with the fish cubes until well coated. Sprinkle with flour and toss gently.
- Set up breading stations: In one bowl combine panko breadcrumbs, flour, and parsley; in another whisk together egg and milk.
- Dip each fish piece into the egg mixture and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Choose your cooking method: For frying: Heat oil in a deep pot and fry nuggets until golden brown (3-4 minutes per side). For air frying: Preheat air fryer to 180°C (356°F) and air fry for 10-15 minutes. For baking: Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F) and bake for 15-18 minutes.
