  • 1 lb raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1/4 cup green onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, coarsely chop the shrimp. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  2. Combine chopped shrimp with breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form small balls from the mixture and place on parchment-lined tray.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry shrimp balls until golden brown and cooked through (about 3–4 minutes per side).
  5. Drain excess oil on paper towels before serving warm.
