  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (or chunks)
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; mix into the wet ingredients until just combined. Gently fold in dark chocolate chips.
  4. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. After chilling, gently fold in chopped frozen raspberries.
  6. Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet with about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for about 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
