Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium yellow onion (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons chili seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 27 oz can chili beans (do not drain)
Instructions
- In a Dutch oven or large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion for about 2 minutes until softened; add minced garlic and sauté for another 2 minutes.
- Add ground beef to the pot and cook, breaking it up until browned. Drain excess grease if necessary.
