- 1½ sticks unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 3 cups cake flour
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup concentrated orange juice
- Zest from one orange (optional)
- 3 sticks unsalted butter (for frosting)
- 7 cups powdered sugar
