Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.

- In a mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and browned butter until smooth. Add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract. Gradually mix in flour and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, blend melted butter with cocoa powder until smooth. Add sugar and eggs, followed by flour and baking powder until fully mixed.
- Spread half of the cookie dough in the prepared pan, pour brownie batter on top, then dollop remaining cookie dough over.
- Bake for about 25–30 minutes or until edges are set but center remains slightly soft. Cool before cutting into squares.
