  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix warm milk and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Gradually add sugar, salt, melted butter, and flour to form a soft dough.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  3. Mix softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth; gently fold in sliced strawberries. Set aside.
  4. Punch down risen dough and roll into a rectangle about ½ inch thick. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Roll tightly from one long edge into a log shape; cut into 12 equal pieces using dental floss or a sharp knife.
  6. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown.
