Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix wet ingredients into dry until just blended; gently stir in hot coffee.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For the ganache, heat heavy cream and pour over chopped chocolate; let sit before stirring in butter and vanilla.
