  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup avocado mayo
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice or apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika or chili powder
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup sliced red onion
  • 1/3 cup sliced pickles
  • 1/3 cup cooked, chopped bacon – optional but so good!
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a frying pan over medium heat, add olive oil and cook the ground turkey until browned (6-8 minutes). Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together avocado mayo, ketchup, Dijon mustard, pickle juice (or vinegar), garlic powder, onion powder, paprika (or chili powder), salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Assemble each serving bowl starting with romaine lettuce as the base. Top with cooked turkey mixture followed by cherry tomatoes and any additional toppings you desire.
  4. Drizzle the special sauce generously over each bowl and mix gently before enjoying.
