Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup avocado mayo
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon pickle juice or apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika or chili powder
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1/2 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
- 1/3 cup sliced red onion
- 1/3 cup sliced pickles
- 1/3 cup cooked, chopped bacon – optional but so good!
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a frying pan over medium heat, add olive oil and cook the ground turkey until browned (6-8 minutes). Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together avocado mayo, ketchup, Dijon mustard, pickle juice (or vinegar), garlic powder, onion powder, paprika (or chili powder), salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Assemble each serving bowl starting with romaine lettuce as the base. Top with cooked turkey mixture followed by cherry tomatoes and any additional toppings you desire.
