  • 2 pounds Yukon gold potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel and quarter the Yukon gold potatoes. Place in cold salted water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 15-20 minutes until tender.
  2. Drain potatoes and return to pot or mixing bowl. Add butter, heavy cream, garlic, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Transfer the potato mixture to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe onto a lined baking sheet in decorative shapes.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional grated Parmesan if desired before serving.
