  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear seasoned chicken until golden brown; remove from pan.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant; add chicken broth and simmer.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and allow to thicken; mix in Parmesan cheese until melted.
