Description

Custard Rasgulla is a delightful fusion dessert that brings together the beloved Indian treat of rasgullas and a rich, creamy custard sauce. Perfect for festive occasions like Diwali or family gatherings, this easy-to-make dessert impresses with its soft, spongy texture complemented by velvety custard.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 tablespoons vanilla custard powder
  • 2 cups milk (divided)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 35 mini rasgullas
  • Nuts (for garnish)
  • Dried rose petals (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix warm milk with custard powder until smooth. Set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, bring remaining milk to a simmer and dissolve sugar.
  3. Gradually stir in the custard mixture while constantly stirring.
  4. Cook over low heat until thickened, then cool slightly.
  5. Gently squeeze rasgullas to remove excess syrup; reserve some for garnish.
  6. Combine squeezed rasgullas with cooled custard, then chill for 1-2 hours.
  7. Serve in cups garnished with reserved rasgullas, nuts, and rose petals.
