Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh shrimp
- 1 package shrimp and crab boil seasoning
- 2 stalks celery (finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons red onion (finely chopped)
- 1½ tablespoons dried dill or 3 tablespoons fresh dill
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon citrus juice (lemon or lime)
- Salt and ground white pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil water with shrimp/crab boil seasoning in a large stockpot. Add fresh shrimp and cook for 5-8 minutes until pink. Chill on ice.
- Peel and chop the cooled shrimp. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, celery, red onion, dill, citrus juice, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in the seasoned shrimp until well coated. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
