- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (for filling)
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar (for coating)
- 4 tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions
- Brown ½ cup of unsalted butter in a light-colored saucepan until golden and nutty-smelling; let cool.
- In a mixing bowl, beat 3 oz of softened Philadelphia cream cheese with 1½ Tbsp sugar and ¼ tsp vanilla extract until smooth. Refrigerate.
- In another bowl, whisk cooled butter with ½ cup light brown sugar and 3 Tbsp granulated sugar; add 1 egg and ½ tsp vanilla, mixing until glossy.
- Combine 1⅓ cups flour, ½ tsp baking soda, ½ tsp cinnamon, and ¼ tsp sea salt in a separate bowl; fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
