- 1½ lbs Yukon Gold potatoes (cubed)

- In a large soup pot, cook bacon until crispy; set aside and reserve drippings.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, sear in the same pot until golden brown; remove.
- Sauté onions, carrots, and celery in bacon drippings until softened. Add garlic, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir in flour until well combined; gradually add chicken broth followed by half-and-half.
- Add cubed potatoes; bring to boil then simmer until tender.
- Return chicken to pot; stir in cheese until melted. Garnish with reserved bacon bits.
