  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (finely grated)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 4 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons capers (drained)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Flatten the chicken breasts with a meat mallet; season with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge the chicken in flour mixed with Parmesan and garlic powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook the chicken until golden brown (about 4-5 minutes per side).
  4. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add wine to deglaze.
  5. Stir in capers, broth, lemon juice; simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly reduced.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, coat well with sauce, and finish with cold butter and parsley before serving.
