- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (for filling)
- ¾ cup brown sugar (for filling)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1¼ cups sweetened shredded coconut
- ¾ cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, and salt; beat until creamy. Gradually add flour until well combined. Press evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until lightly golden; cool slightly.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, brown sugar, honey, heavy cream, and salt; stir until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in coconut and vanilla.
