  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and half the basil.
  4. Cut pockets in each chicken breast and stuff them with the ricotta mixture.
  5. Arrange the stuffed chicken in the baking dish and cover with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with remaining basil.
