Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) ground turkey
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber (grated)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into small balls. For baking: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for about 20 minutes until cooked through. For pan-frying: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook meatballs until golden brown on all sides.
- While cooking, prepare the tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber (drained), minced garlic, lemon juice, dill, olive oil, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
- Serve warm with tzatziki drizzled on top or on the side.
