  • 2 cups shredded phyllo dough (kataifi, finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup pistachio cream
  • 4 oz milk or semi-sweet chocolate bar
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add egg, vanilla extract, milk, and oil; mix until smooth. Stir in hot coffee.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes.
  5. For the pistachio filling, cook shredded phyllo dough in butter until golden brown; mix with pistachio cream.
