  • 1 lb. lean ground beef (96/4)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tsp. yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1/3 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup dill pickles (chopped)
  • 1.5 Tbsp. pickle juice
  • 8 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • chopped white onion

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, spray nonstick spray and add ground beef with chopped onion. Cook until browned.
  2. Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and yellow mustard; stir and simmer.
  3. In a bowl, mix light mayonnaise, ketchup, chopped pickles, and pickle juice to create the special sauce.
  4. Assemble your bowls by layering shredded lettuce, beef mixture, cheddar cheese, onions, tomatoes, and drizzle with special sauce.
